I Miss You

To miss someone is to have known them so well that a part of you feels them even when they are not around. To miss someone means that you are alive and have lived well enough to have made an impact and to let others change your life. To miss someone is hard but you must take comfort in knowing that they are happy. I miss you, not who you have become but the person you were to me. I miss how you would make me feel when we were together as one heart. I miss your love, beauty, brains and soul. I miss your smile, eyes, hugs and comfort. I miss YOU..

An Angel's Story

Here’s a story of a girl

Who fell in love and lost her world

Darkness shown as she was broken down

Left alone and beaten on the ground

Then an angel came to say:

Be strong, avoid at all costs. Be civil but not overly helpful.

Keep those who have wronged you at a distance.

And then the girl thought to herself:

Myself is most important, my life is number 1.

I’m no longer your servant. I’m now free to run.

Letting go feels good. I don’t need you evermore.

Darkened Doore

The devil lives among us at home in the shadows of Depresida*.

Her seething ways travel through doors to that which is darker than thou.

To no longer be one with the good spirits and

Lose all compassion in lust after greed.

To forget where she came from and where she is going.

Breaking those around her as she broke herself.

She lost the easiest thing to keep and the hardest to get back.

Repellant choices leave her sitting in cold blood.

To prove devils too can be born out of love.

There once was a boy home sick with the flu
He said "make me better, you know what to do."
"I cant bring you soup!" said his friend far away,
But I'll write you this poem, to brighten your day.
The magical poetry was really unique.
The boy healed himself in less than a week!

Dusty Shadows

Here I lie in the dusty shadows dreaming of what used to be

The ground beneath my feet is changing

Knowing not where this life may lead

I have lived through the highest highs

Followed by debasing lows

I’ve seen trusting smiles fade as the wind quickly blows

What is the point to all this mess?

If not just to live and then forget?
